MORROW, GEORGIA – The spring atmosphere illuminated the city of Morrow as the Lunar New Year Festival 2026 officially took place on February 14-15, 2026, attracting a large number of Vietnamese community members and international friends. The event became one of the largest and most vibrant Tet festivals in the metro Atlanta area this year.
Vietnamese Spring Colors in the Heart of America
Red and yellow hues filled the festival grounds. Resounding lion dance drums and graceful áo dài intermingled with the bustling crowd, creating a vibrant spring scene rich in Vietnamese cultural identity in the heart of America.
Dozens of food stalls offered a rich variety, from traditional dishes to modern street food. Bánh chưng, bánh tét, grilled dishes, sweet soups, and many other specialties were beautifully presented, becoming a central attraction for attendees.
The culinary space not only satisfied appetites but also evoked memories of home and connected the younger generation with their ethnic cultural roots.
Red lanterns hung high, peach blossoms displayed their colors, and Tết couplets stood out against decorations themed for the Year of the Horse 2026. Elaborately designed photo booths became popular check-in spots, attracting hundreds of social media posts. Families and friends gathered to capture their New Year moments in a space rich with traditional spring colors.
