LOS ANGELES — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed the arrest of Tri Minh Cai, 38, a Vietnamese national, during an operation in the Los Angeles area.
According to an official statement from ICE Los Angeles, the individual has a criminal record involving multiple offenses, including:
- assault with a deadly weapon
- identity theft
- burglary
- vandalism
ICE stated the arrest occurred around March 11, 2026. This was part of law enforcement efforts to dismantle criminal networks in the area. The agency classified the individual as a convicted criminal and he is currently being held for immigration processing, similar to cases of Vietnamese nationals with criminal records awaiting deportation in other states.
