A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly damaging property at two Airbnb rentals in Pensacola and posting videos to adult platforms to earn money.
Suspect Nicolette Keough, 31, was arrested on March 15 and faces property damage charges following an incident where a tourist was arrested for similar aggressive behavior.
The host discovered unusual activity after receiving notifications via the Airbnb app regarding the guest's conduct.
According to police records, numerous items in the homes were severely damaged, including coffee makers, toasters, TVs, carpets, chairs, and other household appliances.
Damages were estimated at approximately $3,980 at one unit and an additional $1,374 at the other, a case as serious as the thieves filming their own break-ins to steal property.
Affected items also included music players, beds, electric fireplaces, dining sets, and various other pieces of furniture.
The host later found related videos uploaded to an adult content website.
Police confirmed the suspect committed the acts for the purpose of monetizing the uploaded content, drawing comparisons to the shocking messages and search histories of other criminals.
Authorities stated that this constituted severe property damage.
The suspect was released after posting bail but could still face a lengthy prison sentence in the near future.
