A Coweta County contractor is facing new criminal charges after more customers continued to report issues related to uncompleted construction projects.
According to the Senoia Police Department, five new felony theft by conversion charges have been filed against Nathan Gividen after the agency received complaints from at least 30 individuals.
Over $150,000 Involved in New Cases
Police stated that the five new cases total more than $150,000. Some callers reporting issues do not reside in Coweta County, so their files will be transferred to the relevant local jurisdictions.
Previously, FOX 5 Atlanta reported on Gividen's legal troubles last August.
Expired License, Revoked Business License
Officials confirmed:
- Gividen's contractor license has expired.
- His business license was recently revoked.
Gividen is currently held at the Coweta County Jail.
Warning for Homeowners
Police advise the public to thoroughly check contractor information before signing contracts, including:
- License status with the Secretary of State's Office
- Registration status with local authorities
The investigation is ongoing, and more charges may arise if additional complaints are filed.
