PICKENS COUNTY, Alabama – Four teachers from the same school district in Aliceville, Alabama, along with a local police officer, have been arrested in an investigation involving allegations of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.
The investigation is a joint effort by the Pickens County District Attorney's Office, the Aliceville Police Department, the State Bureau of Investigation of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Birmingham.
Identities of the Arrested Suspects
Roderick Granger, 41, a teacher at Aliceville High School, was arrested on January 30 on charges of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material, enticing a child by electronic means, and failing to report child abuse. Granger is being held at the Pickens County Jail on a $1 million bond.
Antavious Belgrave, 28, a former teacher at Aliceville High School, was arrested on February 6 on charges of enticing a child online, distributing harmful images, and using his position for personal gain. Belgrave is being held on a $1 million bond.
Winston Bishop, 58, a teacher at Aliceville High School, was arrested on February 16 on charges of seeking and possessing child sexual abuse material, along with providing prohibited substances to minors. Bishop is being held without bond.
Lakethia Colvin Wilkins, 49, a teacher at Aliceville Elementary School, was arrested on February 17 on similar charges. Wilkins is currently being held without bond.
Gary Caminion, 20, an Aliceville police officer and high school sports coach, was arrested on February 17. Caminion faces multiple serious charges, including producing and transmitting child sexual abuse material and other related offenses. Caminion is being held without bond.
