Law enforcement in Jasper County is searching for Tony Weekley, 42, a sex offender registry violator who is believed to have fled and may be in the DeKalb County or Rockdale County area.

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, Weekley is wanted in connection with incidents occurring in multiple counties across Georgia.

Wanted for Offenses Involving Minors

According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Weekley is wanted on charges of child molestation. Previously, the GBI has also made arrests related to child sexual exploitation in the Decatur area.

Authorities stated that Weekley was previously recorded living in the DeKalb and Rockdale County areas, so law enforcement is focusing their search there. Recently, an armed robbery suspect caught hiding in an air vent at a DeKalb business demonstrated the police's determination in sweeping for local criminals.

Police are urging anyone with information regarding Weekley’s whereabouts or movements to contact authorities. Currently, the list of dozens of fugitives still at large is being continuously updated by law enforcement to ensure community safety.
