Atlanta firefighters responded to an emergency on Friday after an industrial gas alarm at a Georgia Tech research facility in the Atlantic Drive NW area of Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Fire Rescue, officials received information about a potential fluorine gas leak from a gas cabinet inside the building.
Everyone inside the facility was evacuated for safety while firefighters established a control zone around the scene.
Hazardous materials units were then dispatched to assess the situation and check for potential chemical dispersion.
