LOS ANGELES, California — The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) on Wednesday arrested five individuals in the city of Corona in an operation that dismantled a large-scale cargo theft ring, the result of a months-long investigation. The total value of recovered assets is estimated to exceed $5 million.
The LAPD's Commercial Crimes Division's Cargo Theft Task Force, in coordination with multiple law enforcement agencies, executed search warrants, uncovering a staggering amount of stolen property.

- California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
"Through this coordinated effort, the total value of recovered property exceeds $5 million," the LAPD stated in its official press release.
