Atlanta police arrested Andre Anthony, 34, after he brandished a gun and threatened violence outside a nightclub on Edgewood Avenue SE early on Valentine's Day. The suspect faces charges of terroristic threats.

Suspect Ejected from Nightclub After Fight

Atlanta police arrested Andre Anthony, 34, after he brandished a gun and made violent threats outside a nightclub on Edgewood Avenue SE early on February 14.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, off-duty officers working at a nightclub in the 300 block of Edgewood Avenue SE discovered a fight inside around 2:40 AM. Security staff escorted Anthony outside. A relative accompanying him stated that he had been attacked by a group of people inside the venue.

Threatened to Shoot People, Then Retrieved Gun from Car

Police stated that Anthony was intoxicated and repeatedly said he would "shoot everyone." He walked toward his vehicle and retrieved a gun. Officers drew their weapons and ordered him to drop the gun. Anthony complied and was taken into custody.

Anthony faces charges of terroristic threats and was booked into Fulton County Jail. Authorities have not yet announced whether those involved in the fight inside the nightclub will be prosecuted.
