Severe hit-and-run accident in California: man and young child killed
A serious traffic accident occurring early Sunday morning in the Playa Del Rey area of Los Angeles has claimed the lives of a man and a young child, according to confirmation from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The incident took place around 4:30 AM on Vista Del Mar, near the intersection of Culver Boulevard. According to the initial investigation, a vehicle traveling southbound crossed into the opposite lane, leading to a collision with another vehicle.
At the scene, authorities confirmed that a front-seat passenger died instantly. A young child was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.

In addition to the two fatalities, there were also:
- A 28-year-old man
- A teenager
who were taken to a nearby hospital. Their current conditions have not been released.
