A 29-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot multiple times at a gas station in southwest Atlanta on the evening of May 30, according to Atlanta police.
The shooting occurred around 10:07 PM in the 500 block of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard SW. Upon arriving at the scene, police found the victim conscious, breathing, and with multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics quickly transported the man to a local hospital for treatment. His current condition has not been released.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident originated from an altercation between the victim and a group of other men at the gas station area.
Atlanta police stated that investigators are searching for multiple individuals involved in this criminal incident. No arrests have been made yet.
The investigation is ongoing.
