Performing 'Cloud 9' Album in Full at Akins Ford Arena
Country singer Megan Moroney has confirmed a surprise performance at Akins Ford Arena on the evening of February 24, where she will play her new album, "Cloud 9," released on February 20, in its entirety.
Tickets are priced at $9 and will be available for direct purchase at the box office starting at 9 AM. Fans began lining up at 7 AM. A limited number of tickets were also sold online at 1 PM via Moroney's official website. Tickets are non-refundable. Online purchasers must present identification matching the name on the ticket order.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the show scheduled to begin at 8 PM. All ticket proceeds will support the Megan Moroney Foundation, an organization dedicated to anti-bullying efforts and raising mental health awareness.
National '9 Cities. 9 Days.' Tour
The Athens show is part of the "9 Cities. 9 Days." tour, featuring nine stops nationwide. Following Athens, Moroney will continue her tour in Newport (Kentucky), Kansas City (Missouri), Denver (Colorado), Salt Lake City (Utah), and Scottsdale (Arizona).
On social media, Moroney wrote: "ATHENS! I'm coming home TOMORROW to play the entire album top to bottom & I can't wait!!!!!!"
