Controversial photo of Stephen Hawking in Epstein files
A photo capturing the brilliant theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking sitting between two women in swimwear is going viral on social media. According to The Times of London, this photo is part of a group of images in the files recently released by the U.S. Department of Justice. In the photo, Professor Hawking is seen smiling and holding a red cocktail; however, the exact time and location of this moment have not been clearly determined.
Stephen Hawking's name appears more than 250 times in documents related to billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. Reports indicate that Hawking attended a scientific conference in March 2006 on St. Thomas in the Caribbean. Notably, this event was sponsored and organized by Epstein, occurring just months before the billionaire was indicted in Florida on charges related to sex trafficking.
Past efforts to refute allegations
The files also reveal the contents of a 2015 email sent by Epstein to his associate Ghislaine Maxwell. The email mentions a cash reward for anyone who could help debunk allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, a victim in the case. Previously, Giuffre had named Hawking and claimed he was present at an inappropriate event in the Virgin Islands, a claim Epstein was desperate to have refuted.
Despite appearing in these shocking documents, Stephen Hawking was never indicted or charged by law enforcement for any wrongdoing. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 76 after living for a long time with ALS. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in 2019 and died in custody that same year before standing trial.
The release of these new documents continues to draw significant public interest regarding Epstein's connections with powerful figures. The list includes many famous names in the global scientific, political, and financial sectors. This information has once again sparked debate about the influence and complex network of the notorious billionaire.
