Three students suffered minor injuries after a crash involving a school bus on the morning of February 26 in Geismar, on La. 74.
According to an Acadian Ambulance representative, the students sustained only minor injuries and no cases were serious. The incident was reported near the Oak Fields Drive area around 6:45 a.m., requiring that stretch of road to be temporarily closed.
Authorities advised drivers planning to travel through the area to prepare for traffic congestion. They were also encouraged to consider finding alternative routes to avoid the scene.
Currently, the exact cause of the crash has not been released. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
