HOUSTON, Texas – Minh Duy Tong Nguyen, also known as “Tony Playboy,” is set to be deported from the U.S. after completing his prison sentence and being taken into custody by immigration authorities.
This man was once on the most wanted list for involvement in the murder of two people and the attempted murder of three others. In 1990, he was featured on the program America’s Most Wanted, subsequently captured in Canada, and extradited to the U.S. for trial.
The court sentenced him to 45 years in prison for these serious crimes.
On April 16, 2026, after leaving prison, he was handed over to ICE Houston. A deportation order for him has existed for over 25 years.
According to law enforcement sources, the deportation process is underway, and he is about to be sent back to Vietnam.
