President Donald Trump has voiced criticism of immigration policies under Joe Biden following the murder of a mother of two in the state of Florida.

According to investigation records, the suspect, 40-year-old Rolbert Jaochin, is accused of attacking the 51-year-old victim with a hammer at a gas station parking lot in the city of Fort Myers during daylight hours. The victim died at the scene.

The suspect was arrested and faces charges of second-degree murder and criminal mischief.

In a social media post, President Trump blamed previous immigration policies—a stance similar to the one he took regarding the murder of an 18-year-old student in Chicago—while calling for swift justice for the victim.

He also stated that he shared security camera footage of the incident, describing it as an act of severe violence. The U.S. leader frequently makes moves to honor victims killed by illegal immigrant crime to emphasize the need for tighter border security.

Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the motive. Local security is under scrutiny following a series of concerning incidents, including the recent arrest of two students who threatened a school shooting in Florida. The investigation is ongoing.
