A federal jury in Los Angeles has convicted two women of stalking a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent to his home and livestreaming the incident on Instagram.

Cynthia Raygoza, 38, of Riverside, and Ashleigh Brown, 38, of Aurora, Colorado, were found guilty of stalking the ICE agent after following him from the ICE office in Los Angeles to his private residence in August 2025.

According to information from U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli, the two livestreamed the pursuit on social media, providing driving directions and urging viewers to share the stream.

Upon arriving at the agent's residence, they wore masks, exited their vehicle, and shouted to bystanders phrases such as: “Your neighbor is ICE,” “La migra lives here,” and “ICE lives on your street and you need to know it.”

The indictment stated that the two also used racially offensive language directed at the agent's wife. The victim's children also witnessed the entire incident.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California stated that the jury reached a just verdict regarding the behavior that endangered a federal officer and his family.

“Peaceful protest is protected by the Constitution. Political violence and unlawful intimidation are not,” a representative from the prosecutor's office stated.

Each defendant faces a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 8.

The incident occurred amid a nationwide increase in attacks against immigration officials. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security previously stated that attacks targeting ICE agents have increased by 1,000%.
