The U.S. Army is offering a $5,000 reward for information helping the investigation into the theft of four military drones at Fort Campbell, according to an announcement from military authorities.

According to initial information, two unidentified individuals carried out the theft and took four unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) from the base area. The incident occurred at Fort Campbell, a major military base located on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee, which houses several major U.S. Army units.

Military investigators are calling on the public to provide information regarding the two suspects as well as the location of the stolen equipment. Those with information that helps identify the suspects or recover the drones could receive a reward of up to $5,000.

Authorities have not yet released the types of drones stolen or the exact time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing to determine how the suspects accessed and removed the equipment from the military base, as the government increases measures to protect airspace against unauthorized drone threats.

Fort Campbell plays a vital role in the U.S. military system, similar to the strict regulations at Fort Hancock after a recent laser incident, which is why the case has drawn the attention of security forces and federal investigators.
