A floor collapse occurred at The Preserve at Chocorua wedding venue in New Hampshire, leaving at least six people injured.

The incident happened on March 21 in the town of Tamworth. The State Fire Marshal’s Office confirmed they have responded and are investigating the cause.

Victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, similar to the case of a North Carolina man who survived thanks to timely emergency care. No fatalities were reported.

According to initial reports, the floor suddenly gave way, sending several guests plunging into the lower level, an estimated drop of 20 feet (over 6 meters).

Multiple fire departments and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene. The road leading to the venue was temporarily blocked off.

Maine Health reported receiving three victims via ambulance, while others were transported to different medical facilities.

The cause of the collapse has not yet been determined. The investigation is ongoing.

Responding agencies included the New Hampshire State Police, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, and Tamworth fire and police departments, following procedures similar to the strict party control measures recently seen in Florida.

The wedding service provider at the venue expressed shock over the incident and offered their thoughts to the victims.

Representatives for the venue have not yet issued an official response.
