PAWTUCKET, Rhode Island – Federal agents have seized a cache of weapons from the home and storage unit of the suspect in a deadly shooting at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena, according to local authorities.

Suspect and Seized Weapons

The suspect has been identified as Robert Dorgan, who is believed to be transgender and also uses the name Roberta.

A joint force comprising the FBI, Rhode Island State Police, and local police conducted searches and seized the following weapons from a storage facility in Brunswick:

  • An AR-15-style rifle
  • A sawed-off shotgun
  • Pistol frames along with various weapon accessories

At Dorgan's residence in Bath, Maine, authorities additionally recovered ammunition, personal documents, and an electronic device whose details have not yet been disclosed. All weapons and ammunition will be sent to the Rhode Island State Crime Lab for examination.

Shooting Incident Details

The searches occurred two days after Dorgan, according to preliminary investigations, opened fire, killing two people at the hockey rink before taking their own life.

Surveillance video and evidence from a van with Maine license plates reportedly led investigators to the suspect's home and storage unit.

Victim Status

Victims' families have stated that some of their loved ones remain in critical condition.

Authorities have not yet released further information on the motive for the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
