Cuban authorities have announced the arrest of an 11th person related to the incident in the Cayo Falcones area. According to Cuban officials, this individual was not on the speedboat they allege carried out an “armed intrusion.”
Previously, four people were killed and six others injured in a shooting involving the aforementioned vessel. The Cuban Interior Ministry stated that the arrested individual has “confessed” to involvement in the incident.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the developments as “very unusual” and stated that the U.S. is conducting an investigation to clarify the facts.
