Netanyahu asserts strikes on Iran are a "door to peace"

In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed that airstrikes against Iran will not lead to an "endless war" in the Middle East. He emphasized that the Iranian regime is currently at its weakest point in the 47 years since it took power. According to him, this military campaign will be swift and decisive, aimed at creating conditions for the Iranian people to regain control of their destiny.

The Israeli Prime Minister argued that removing threats from the current regime in Iran would pave the way for many new peace treaties between Israel and Muslim nations. He believes this change could create an unprecedented era of peace, completely transforming the regional landscape. In particular, he mentioned Saudi Arabia as a strategic partner with much to gain if this vision becomes a reality.

Netanyahu also expressed confidence that a peaceful relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel is very close within the current geopolitical context. He reiterated the important role of the Abraham Accords and close coordination with international partners in promoting stability. The Israeli Prime Minister affirmed that current efforts will lead to the birth of more sustainable peace treaties.

The necessity of the military campaign and the role of the United States

Responding to opinions that Israel is dragging the U.S. into conflict, Netanyahu dismissed them, calling it a "ridiculous" view. He praised Donald Trump as a strong leader who always acts based on America's core interests and global stability. Coordination between the two sides in the campaign against Iran's influence is seen as a necessary strategic step for regional security.

Regarding the military campaign named "Operation Epic Fury", the Israeli Prime Minister stated that action at this time is extremely urgent. He warned that Tehran is actively building fortified underground bunkers and developing its ballistic missile program despite sanctions. If not stopped in time, Iran's nuclear capabilities could reach an uncontrollable threshold in the near future.

Concluding the interview, Netanyahu reaffirmed that the ultimate goal of current military actions is not to trigger a prolonged war. On the contrary, this is the solution to close old conflicts and open the door to lasting peace for the entire Middle East. He believes the world will soon witness a new face of the region once the greatest threats are pushed back.
