A large explosion and fire were reported at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, according to initial reports. Israel's N12 News channel stated that the facility was targeted by a drone attack.
Shortly after, further reports emerged regarding Iranian forces attacking a building in Dubai. These reports indicate the incident occurred just minutes after two drones targeted the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh.
Officials confirmed that the embassy was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported. Hours earlier, the U.S. Department of State had urged American citizens in more than a dozen Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, to leave immediately.
